Perfectly Imperfect Mud Kitchens
Our Mud Kitchens are handmade and sometimes we end up with a few of them that have minor imperfections. These imperfections don’t affect the functionality, safety, or longevity of the kitchens but we are selling them at a reduced price because we only feel comfortable selling perfect kitchens at full price. Each kitchen has been assigned a number, 1 and 2, noted in the photos on the green piece of paper. There are photos of the imperfections of each kitchen. Choose which imperfection works for your family, and order the kitchen number shown in the photo. Please email or call if you have any questions.
Kitchen 1 Imperfections are: lower shelf rail isn't exactly aligned with top slats and the back side of the tabletop has some dents.
Kitchen 2 Imperfections are: lower shelf rail isn't exactly aligned with top slats, the front side of the tabletop has some dents, and the back wall had 2 sets of holes pre-marked for the hook, but they will be covered by the hook.
Description: Our Double Sink Mud Kitchen with a back wall is perfect for all sorts of activities such as water play, sand play, and sensory play, outdoors and indoors, year round. Let your child’s imagination run wild by giving them pots and pans, some objects from nature, and scoops, and see what they create.
The bins are 6” deep, 9.25” wide, and 11.5” long.
Each kitchen comes with a lower shelf, a back wall, 2 stainless steel bins and their lids, 2 hooks, 1 shelf for the back wall, and all hardware needed for assembly. Accessories such as play food, pots and pans, green plastic bins, baskets, water dispenser and utensils shown in photos are not included. The kitchen will ship 1-2 weeks from ordering date and will arrive in 2 boxes. 1 will have the wooden kitchen and the other will have the bins
Dimensions: The kitchen is 38.5” long and 16 1/4" deep. The legs are 24” tall.
Age range: Recommended for kids who are walking and no longer putting small objects in their mouth up to 7 years old.
To Add Running Water: Running water can be added to your kitchen by purchasing our Green Water Faucet Kit, which includes a bendable green faucet, table top extender, and hardware, so you can attach it to the side of the kitchen. Our green water faucet attaches to a garden hose for running water in your kitchen!
To attach the faucet to a hose YOU WILL NEED TO BUY (each piece is approx $6 at your local hardware store)

Our Mud Kitchens are handmade in the USA by highly skilled Amish builders out of all natural, pine wood. We do not use pressure treated wood.
Stain:***We currently do not add stain and recommend adding weatherproof staining if you will keep this product outside for extended amounts of time.***. Stain will need to be maintained yearly and leaving it unstained will cause it to gray as it ages, just like a natural wood fence or deck. Please check with your local hardware store to find out what stain is recommended for your climate.
Assembly: Some assembly is required and we will send easy to follow instructions and all needed hardware. The only tool you need is a screw driver or screw gun. The table, lower shelf, and back wall are all completely assembled so all you have to do is attach them to the legs. Assembly takes about 10 minutes. Watch our assembly video to see how it’s done and to follow along while you assemble yours.
