Your satisfaction is the most important thing to us and we are happy to work with you if you are less than satisfied with your kitchen. We are a very small family business and can not offer the same return policies as big companies such as Amazon, but believe what we have outlined below is fair to all.

  • Immediately upon receiving your kitchen, or water faucet, please open and inspect it for shipping damages.  

  • All damages must be reported to us within 1 week of receiving your items by emailing and explanation and photos to lauren@monarchstudioboston.com. Once photos of damages are provided, we will ship you a replacement part(s). 

  • If you want to return your kitchen or faucet for reasons other than damages, you must notify us by emailing lauren@monarchstudioboston.com within a week of receiving it. Once you ship it back to us, we will issue you a refund after we receive and inspect the kitchen for damages. We will email you a FedEx shipping label and will deduct the shipping cost from your refund. You are responsible for dropping it off at a FedEx drop off location. In order to receive a refund, the kitchen must be packed the same way we did when we shipped it to you, to avoid damages. Contact us at lauren@monarchstudioboston.com if you need instructions on how to pack it.  

  • Any requests for refunds or replacement parts after 1 week of you receiving the kitchen or faucet will be reviewed on a case by case basis. 

  • There are no refunds or exchanges for kitchens that are turning, or have turned grey. Our kitchens are made from natural pine wood. We do not apply any weatherproofing products to the kitchens. If you don’t apply a weatherproofing product to your kitchen it will grey over time but this does not affect the stability of your kitchen. At first, it will look like clusters of little grey spots. This is not mold. Over time, the entire kitchen will grey. If you want to apply a weatherproofing product to your kitchen to try to prevent it from greying, we urge you to look for non-toxic options and re-apply the product every few months. The sun and rain are hard on any product left outside for extended periods of time, including a Mud Kitchen.  

  • There is a no return policy for the stone play items.
